The Maritime Library comprises over 1,000 titles of books about anything to do with working, living, or loving the water. Our collection is entirely donated or gifted by friends of the Whatcom Working Waterfront Foundation.

We hope our collection has something for everyone with titles in fiction, history, ecology, boat maintenance, building, and living, as well as local stories. The library also features an extensive magazine collection, including The Wooden Boat, The Columbia, and several other periodical works.
